Threethumbszune specs and alien girlfriends
All right world.
If you are Internet savvy and have been looking around for the hot new things online, then you've probably seen the Zune.
The Zune is what some proclaim to be the I-pod killer from Microsoft. I myself am actually thinking about getting these so called Zunes....but I think I also just want to battle the war against apple. I have an underlying passion, for hating apple. I don't know why..maybe its because my mother never gave me apples as a child? Maybe its because my real name is Adam and everyone associates me with the biblical story..... In my defense, Eve ate the apple first. Its not my fault....every man who knows whats right for him listens to his woman. I didn't want any trouble, so I had a bite too. Eve is the one who should get all the credit for condemning humans to die. Not me!!
anyway back to my point. I don't like apple, so i wanna get a Zune. Currently i have a Creative Zen Touch. And this thing is the best mp3 player in the world! I get over 24 hours of battery life on this sukka! It holds a good 20 gig and has a built in equalizer which you can adjust to your liking. Excellent man! Far better than any Ipod, and Ipod price! But recently I have acquired a large sum of money. I cant tell you that story yet because I'm under contract with a company not to publicize it until they have released the information. But, lets just say it will last me quite a while. So I'm willing to splash out a little and get some nice material goods.
So about this Zune. The specs for it are something like this:

If you couldn't be bothered reading it I will give you a nice summery of the highlights.
14 hours of battery when listening to music. And about 4 hours when watching movies or looking at your photos.
It holds 30 gigs but there is a leak about one soon which will have 80 gigs of storage.
Thats a hell of a lot of storage! DVD's hold about 4.5 gig at the moment so just imagine 80 gigs.
It has built in Wi-fi. This allows you to send songs (video pictures) to each other! Its just like dealing drugs...except its not drugs its (pirated)music and this music will only last you a maximum of 3 days or 3 plays pending on which one comes first.
I'm thinking if someone gives me a song. I will record it to my comp and save it and put it back on my zune as if it is just a usual file though....that way I can rock with the song as long as i want. Oh its a pirates life for me.
Also, I think the Wi-fi might allow it to interact with the computer without cables which would be nice. I don't have room for more cables at my computer at the moment.
I've also heard that you can DJ for other Zunes in the area. So kind of like an outgoing FM tuner. But only in a small radius.
They come out in America on the 14th of November according to what I remember reading off the Web of information according to Luke. It shouldn't be long before it comes out in Australia. It will likely be out before Chirstmas, because it would be pretty stupid to miss out on the Christmas period....kind of reminds me of a PS3 incident but I wont get into that now....

Whats missing from this equation? Think about it....a little more......brain is clicking....thats right! I'm sure you were all thinking this very thought! It needs a kitchen sink!!! how can it do anything without one! Ok no it doesn't need a kitchen sink, it needs recording properties!! Give it a camera! Give it a microphone! Is that too much to ask? We live in freaking 2006-2007! If it can go in a phone it should be in a media box. Think about the capabilities. When they integrate them all in, wouldn't that be amassing. You would wonder how you got by without it. It doesn't need a phone though. A phone would incorporate bills and all that and things would get very expensive.

I don't want to send media that anyone can have, every one can have the latest family guy video. I want to send people videos of stuff that I've been up to. Scenario 1:
The day is drawing to a close, its autumn, there is a cool breeze that gives you a slight chill even though you are wearing a heavy jacket. You and your girlfriend walking and listening to the same tunes on your zunes via the DJ capabilities. Its a nice romantic kinda song and your walking down a Forresty path. You look over at your beautiful girlfriend, as leaves fall in the back ground. 'She is so beautiful' is what you think to yourself, as you give her one of those warm loving smiles. Since no one can resist a smile's seductive contagious nature you expect to get one back and maybe a little bit of a hug...and a quick kiss as the sun goes down.(a guy can dream lol) anyway thats exactly what happens except for one thing...AN ALIEN RIPS THROUGH HER SKIN AND SCREAMS “I NEED A MORE SUITABLE HOST BODY”. You are so freaking scared you start running. It is chasing you Jurassic Park stylee. You hold your zune behind you and record him chasing you, as he gets closer a Zombie motorcyclest cuts him off and slices into him with his clever. You stop running and watch them fight it out. Hack! Slash! Blood and guts are squirting everywhere, they look each other in the eye as they wipe the blood from their tired bodies and the aliens mothership hovers over head. Both you and the zombie cyclist notice how much it looks like a discoball from the angle you are standing at. Suddenly the alien and zombie start a dance off. You've never seen anything like this in your life. An alien that can pop lock and a zombie pulling the meanest chicken noodle soup dance you have ever seen. AMASING!
A beam of light comes down from the ship and pulls the zombie and alien aboard then flies off into the distance. Aren't you happy you had your Zune with you? You can now send that video to all your friends! Maybe add some crazy music to it and turn it into a YouTube video. 3 weeks later, your world famous! And all because your Zune had a camera in it which can record video.
See when you are running your telephone may have had a camera in it. But you were already holding your zune in your hand. It only makes sense to record video with the Zune instead of search your adrenaline filled body for your phone. The Zune Needs a Camera.

Your name is Threethumbs, Its winter, you go with your favorite friends who all have Zunes to the alps in Switzerland to go snow boarding.(friends without Zunes aren't really friends at all they are pod people! Don't even think about inviting them) the trip is called Zuneboard2007
you've all been waiting for it ever since SnowPoding2006. Oh the stories from SnowPoding2006
that was one hell of a trip. Remember when you shaved martens head. That was great. Too bad no one else was there to see it. (If you did this during Zuneboard2007 you could of recorded it on your zune!)
Anyway, your in the ski-lift going to to the top of the alp. Everyone laughs at you because you don't have the same snowboard skills as everyone else. You yell out “Its not my fault Brethren! I just don't have a song that I flow with” (using brethren in a sentence is cool because its classic.classic is oldschool. And old school is retro and retro is cool!)
Your best friend Steve who just got married, sends you a song he thinks would work with you while you carve into the snow. You thank him and everyone gets out of the lift and stands side by side ready to WROCK THE HILL ZUNE STYLING!
Everyone is listening to the song that you just got, via the DJ capability of the Zune and you all hit the alp at the same time. You pull a 1080 stalefish zuneface combo and land square as a nerd with a pen protector in a lab coat. Everyone yells over their mics “OHHHHH THAT WAS AMASING”
and thats why you need mics in the Zune. Wont hurt to have one of your boys with a camera so he can film you take the leap. Zunes need microphones
These are just some of the crazy stories that you can experience with the Zune if it had a mic and video camera capabilities. But it doesn't! And that sucks!
It might have a microphone but as far as i know they don't.
Anyway I still think I'm going to get one.
On a side note. Halo3 has some interesting news. There will be 3 different packs available for the game. The normal, collectors and elite version,. Whats in the elite version? It comes with a Version VI Master Chief helmet replica. Obviously this is going to be way over priced and sold out like chicken at KFC. I don't know if it will be big enough to wear or anything but it looks sweet. I already have a spot for it in my room.
